Studying Hard

Nathan came home with his first report card of the year. They actually give real As and Bs and/or the actual percentage number grade they have earned. Nathan came home with all As or grades above 90. I could always tell he was smart even though he was my least prepared for Kindergarten as far as letters and sounds go, but he has just caught on to everything and absolutely loves learning. I love when he comes home from school with a new fact about a country (for Social Studies they will study each of the continents and learn about a major city, a major landmark, the food they eat and the language they speak) or a tidbit of science information or the definition of a new word he has learned. I went in for a Parent Teacher conference and she said he was right on track with all the class. She also said what a wonderful, helpful, kind boy he was in class. I always love to hear that part.
